Polished, Sealed, and Tinted 07 Camry SE

Yesterday was about as nice a day as I could have asked for. It was mid to high 60's maybe...and I was looking for a reason to be outside (after I had tired the dogs out). My sister went to a convention down in Austin, TX and yesterday was the first nice day that I had nothing planned. With my trusty Makita in my hand, I went to work on her 07 Camry. After driving this car on a 600 mile roadtrip as well as every once in a while around town..I can say that I really like this car. It is a solid feeling, nice riding, good looking car that I'd be proud to call my own (if it were mine). Well, all the nice features it has are bathed in a beautiful shade (IMO) of metallic red. It's a fun color to polish because it looks really nice when you're done. This car hasnt been polished for a while and with the water ban, it's seen runs through the touchless wash only (she wont let anyone wash it but me...just as instructed) so swirls werent too bad. I didnt take pictures until I got to my shop this morning as I finished too late last night for any decent shots. Unfortunately, the pics didnt all come out so hot...My shop has these large florescent style canister lights (you can see them in the reflection) and they are inadequate at best. The guys are always moaning about not being able to find clips and stuff if they drop them on the ground. It's not as bad when I have the doors open, but the heater was running when I took the pics.

Process:

$2.50 in quarters into the pay and spray to knock the nastiness off.

ONR

Clay with Clay magic blue

OP spinning between 1200 and 1500 rpms depending on the panel on an Edge blue pad

Klasse AIO

Klasse SG

Hot Shine on the tires

Here are the underwhelming pics. Pay no attention to the dirty windows. The car was getting tinted today and I left them as dirty as I could as an inside joke to my tint guy. I dont know if you can tell, but I clayed them and just left the tracks and residue there. The first two are older pics, but I've never posted them (same combo was used AIO/SG, but they came out better than this batch)

I really like those in the SE form.

Nice color, it's growing on me. Thats not the bright red right ? It's a more deepr red -Maroon / metalic paint?

Grey interior ?

Thanks guys. The color is called Barcelona Red Metallic. I have a hard time really setting up pics to caputure this paint's metallic flake. Maybe it's a little more visible in this one:

It's definitely visible in person. Maybe I just need a better camera. My sis took hers with her.

That's the best Camry I've seen you did an awesome job on it. I love Barcelona red.

Thanks A lot!! All of the family's cars usually look dirty, thanks to this water restriction we're under. I forgot how nice it is to drive a clean car.

beautiful color! Great job on the car.

Thanks. Everybody seems to love this color. Before even looking at one, I tried to get her to get the bright white one, but I think she made the right choice. It's amazing how it almost changes color in different lighting.

Gorgeous work Wade!! :2thumbs:

I hope you are safe and out of the way of these nasty storms...looks like they are about 15 minutes away at the moment from the Cobb/Cherokee line.

We're all good over here Mike. Hope all is well with you guys too. My buddy lives downtown and his neighborhood got hit, but his place is ok though. No damage.
