I'm thinking of getting some SSR1, 2, and 3. Which pads from CMA should I use with them. I've been using Menzerna IP and FP and can't stand them. Is the Poorboys SSRs easier to use then the Menzerna polishes?

Also, where does the PP fall in place with the SSR. Should I use the SSR before or after the PP? If I use SSR2 should I always follow up with SSR1 before moving on?

I like to use SSR1, then PP, though IMO it isn't usually needed. SSR1 leaves a very nice high gloss look(yesterday I used SRR1, then NXT). I have used SSR2 and gone straight to EX (or whatever I am going to "seal" with) and the paint looked fine. I don't think SSR2 is strong enough to dull the paint. I have never used SSR3, but have seen and felt it. I would think you would need to follow it up with something else(I would guess that SSR1 or PP would work).

I use the polishing pad with the SSR's and with PP or Polish w/carnuba. I'd rather not use the cutting pad. JUst my preference. Using the same pad helps me evaluate the cutting and polishing aspects of the product...one less variable to consider/weigh.

I'd think that you could go from the SSR2 to PP as PP and SSR1 have only minimal differences...as far as I can tell anyway. From what I've read it seems that several folks are going using the SSR1 as a final polish and are quite happy with the results from that process.
 
I have used SSR3 in the most extreme of cases - (bad scratch on roomate's truck) it does leave a haze if your work it in (with Meg's red) - SSR2 is most versatile depending on speed and pad - I don't have ssr1 put have gone from ssr2 to pwc and there was no hazing or dulling in between.
 
I use SSR2 with a yellow (cutting) pad. I then will hit it with Pro Polish with a white pad. I find SSR2 to be so effective, I usually go right to it and skip SSR1.
 
The SSR2.5 is going to be a great addition to this line! :bigups

SSR2.5 is more abrasive, but the grit breaks down quickly and completely. Surprisingly, the prototype version actually seems to leave the surface slicker and glossier than SSR2. Testing is still underway, but SSR2.5 seems like it will be another winning addition to the PB lineup.
 
I tried it by hand and was quite surprised myself on initial testing...it felt so gritty that I thought it would induce scratches, but it broke down quickly and left a shiny, clean, super slick surface ....it even beaded nicely in the rain:D
 
I'm hoping that it's a product that's similar to DACP in performance, but even easier to used by hand, or PC! So far, it sounds pretty darn good!

awd330 did that and the 2.5 did the same as DACP but was real shiny:D

Yes. I tried the SSR2.5 in a side by side comparison with SSR2 and DACP this past weekend. SSR2.5 and DACP had equal scratch removing ability, but SSR2.5 was much easier to wipe off (even though I used too much product). The most interesting thing was that SSR2.5 left the surface slicker and glossier than DACP or SSR2. DACP definitely needed to be followed by a finishing polish, but SSR2.5 looked like it might be able to go right to a wax or sealant. More testing required........
