Polish then AIO ?

:confused: I see alot of posts here that people are polishing before AIO. I'M a bit confused, I thought AIO is a polish. Is the polishing before AIO a compounding step? I have new paint with only the usual micro maring and minor swirls. Would I need a polish before AIO?

I really wouldnt describe AIO as a polish, but more as a cleaner on steroids......Some folks like its ease of use, and excellent durability, therefore they use it as a All In One, as described......If your surface should need additional depth, you should use a polish to remove light swirls and/or scratches....Then you can top with AIO.....
 
Maybe some #80......Fits the bill in most needs.....Im not a Zaino fan/user so i dont know if theres a bonding issue involved, im sure someone will chime in...
