Polish/Paint Cleaner that works on exterior glass

Can anyone recommend a non-dedicated product that works well on windows? I use two different Japanese glass "polishes" which are both a kind of gritty, water-based thin paste. They are excellent at taking anything off the glass (water spots, pitch, etc.), but don't provide any "gloss" to the glass (esp. on tinted glass) or water beading (though beading is the least important).

I want to use something that can be used on the windshield, too, that won't upset the performance of the wipers. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I've had success with AIO.

Autoglym Super Resin works well.

Thanks for the responses. Those are actually two of the products I have that I've been thinking of trying. Do they work well on the windshield as well (allow the wipers to do their job)?

I can not say how well Super Resin would work on the windshield,as i have never used it there, because you may risk smearing from the wipers(according to Autoglym).

One product i have used on windshields,is Liquid Glass, and it worked really well, especially at high speed/heavy rain;this is kind of strange to me,because Liquid Glass and Super Resin are both similar,in that they are Acrylic formulas:nixweiss
