Poli Seal Cut?

Well I have been reading alot about diff styles and process for properly prepping a car. I am going to be working on some cars in the new year most of them have bad swirls and scratches so I am probly going to be using compound with orange LC pad with my PC

My process will be

OC orange pad

OP white pad

poli seal white pad

megs 16 gray pad.

My question is how many people use a 50/50 combo of OC/OP on a orange pad and does it leave a haze like OC straight?

Also how much cut does poliseal actually have? I mean if I have light marring and some faint swirls is better for me to hit with poliseal and white pad or go over it with some OP then poliseal?

TIA

I don't ever use the OP and OC mixed. Lately I've been jumping from the OC to the Poli Seal. The Poli Seal finishes off nicely.

like Juztang, I have been using OC with an orange LC pad, then finishing with Poliseal on a white pad. finishes off great and eliminates the haze from the OC

Juztang has some great prices and super cust serv too if you have not purchased yet :woot:

Via PC and with a polishing pad, cut is similar to Meguiars #80, similar to Vanilla Moose using a Propel blue finishing pad (between the typical finishing pad and a polishing pad in aggressiveness).

Here, this thread should give you an idea of what Poli-Seal can do via PC and a polishing pad on a Ceramiclear SL55.

My e-mail address is in my profile. I don't answer "tell me how to detail my car, all the steps and all the products I need" e-mails though...that is why I turned off PMs. ;)

I expect that isn't what you intend to ask though. :)
