PO85RD vs 106FF PICS

Ive been using SIP and PO85rd combo for a few details now and have noticed a significant difference in working time and swirl busting vs my IP and FP combo. Now from what Ive read another favorite from the Menzerna lineup is following up with 106ff after SIP. Is there a significant improvement of 106ff vs PO85rd that would warrant me buying another bottle of 106ff?? Here are some results that I have gotten with the SIP and PO85RD combo. By the way this detailing bug sucks!!!! last week it was waxes and now its polishes:sadpace:

Notice how hazed the driver side section is.

Driver side compare with driver side rear quarter panel. Driver side uncorrected(left)/ Driver rear quarter panel after 1st stage polishing (right).

Looks pretty good to me. I don't see a need to buy a bottle of 106ff when you're doing just fine with the PO85RD

Looks like your getting some good improvement with the SIP on your paint. I don't think (though honestly I don't have the experience of others with 85) that your going to see a big improvement or change in appearance between 106 and 85.

*edit*I didn't see if you are using a rotary or a PC, but I am speaking soley from rotary experience. Also if you are using a rotary and still not getting out the deep stuff then advice below might help.

You might want to step up to something more aggresive to cut out the rids in those pictures. I have found that 3M Extra Cut on a yellow pad or purple wool will finish out most deep defects quickly, and that SIP on a white (or orange on hard paint) will remove the 3M marring. Its a great combination that makes quick work of some of the deep stuff.

oops..I thought these were going to be comparison shots of PO85RD vs PO106FF. Looks good, though!

Both polishes are *supposed* to finish down the same--the only difference being that 106FF has more cut. So if you already have the micromarring under control, you may not really need it (unless, of course, you want to use it to do a comparo of how they both finish ;)).
