Has anyone tried this combo out on a regular clearcoat?

I'm guessing that it will have correction properties greater than FPII would and finish down LSP ready on light colors.

Thanks for the comments!

porta,

That is some incredible work!!! As luck would have it, I just got in some CCS pads so I'll have to try it out this weekend. Thank you very much for your reply!

Thanks :)

Do you have light to medium swirls? Then you should be able to take them out with no problems. If the paint is harder you maybee need something stronger, I prefere the Menzerna PO85RD3.02.

Wich pads do you have? I am planning to order some orange, green and maybee the black. But I have only heard good things about the green pad, and now I know that I can finish with a orange pad with rotary. So maybee I don´t need a softer then the green one?

Maybee on a soft and dark paint the harder pads can swirl the paint.

Post some pictures after you are done!

Where I plan to use the PO106FF, the swirls are fairly light where I can only see them in certain lighting conditions and at certain angles. The scratches are a little deeper, but I wanted to try and work my way up the aggressiveness scale before having to go to a compound.

I previously used FPII on a white LC polishing pad on the areas and the combo knocked down the visibility of the swirls/scratches, but they are still there. I'm hopeful that the 106 will take them out.

I have the orange (light cut), white (polishing) and black (finishing) CCS pads but have not used any of them yet. This weekend will be the first time.

I wish we could get the PO85RD3.02! I'm waiting on some Presta stuff which sounds like a rough equivalent in theory.

Thanks again for your input!
