PM's are locking up my screen

I've tried to reply to a PM several times today on (2) different PC's and my browser locks up, and I have to kill the session.

Is anyone else having issues with PM's?
 
When I have these kinds of problems (it's been a while), I open the page using my Window's Explorer instead of IE.
 
Fixed it. There must be a character length limit on PM's. I deleted the original message, and put in a reply and it worked.

It usually says that when you send a PM that is too long. If you respond to a long PM string and leave all the repsonses then it will flash a message that says you exceeded the character limit of the PM. I think it is 5000 or something.

I didn't get an exceeded character limit message because my session locks and I have to go to the task manager and kill it.
 
It happened to me a couple weeks ago when I was sending Dwayne a PM. Admins don't have a character limit, so I don't think that was the problem. The whole PM board locked up on me and I couldn't send the PM till later. I don't remember if I had to reset my cookies to get it to work or not, but it only happened that once. It happened to Dwayne a couple days later too, so I guess nobody is immune to this little ghost in the machine.
