Plush Microfibers from Patrick/Excel Detail

I got a chance to use the towels from Patrick this evening.



These are very nice, very close to the dark green "cobra" towels I got from I don't remember where. They are a definite step up from the Viking towels that come in 2-packs and 3-packs from KMart and WalMart, towels that I am very satisfied with. They are WAY above the 10 pack WalMart towels.



Yesterday I used them as a last-dry towel while using QEW, and tonight I used them to remove NXT from my red Miata. They held a lot of moisture/product,and did not gum up like cheap towels do.



When I want to be verrrrry particular about a job I'm doing, I always try to make sure I have a few of the dark green towels clean; I would pick up one of these towels just as readily. I consider them to be for all intents and purposes the same in quality.



Oh, did I mention that they are really really low-priced? Like, $2.90 each, buy 10 get one free, buy 20 get 3 free? IMO, that's a deal. I have not tried the towels from PakShak, so I can't answer the inevitable "How are they compared to...?" By all accounts the PakShak towels are excellent. I happened to buy towels from Patrick, and IMO they are also excellent.

Tom, thanks for the complimentary thread. Im glad another Autopian has found them valuable for their particular detailing needs, it sounds like the towels suit most of your needs. It was funny, I had just received towels from another supplier right after I had mailed yours out, or I would have thrown one of those in for your review !

I also have been very pleased with the MF towels ( yellow and blue) that I purchased from Patrick/Excel. Very plush and well constructed. Patrick uses USPS ( 4 days including weekends days) which is great for me because I live on the East Coast. It can be a pain with UPS Ground (6 days excluding weekends days) delivery.

Ordered the MF wash mit also last month. Will test with the new plusher mit that should arrive with present order. Can't wait to get a warm day to test these items. :D

Another happy user of Patrick's towels. He sent me one to test and it is definitely one of the plushest and softest I've used (seems very much like the one I got from Poorboys, just a different color). I'll be ordering some as I retire some of my older mfs in the coming months. :up
 
Ordered a lot of stuff from Patrick,can,t wait too try them out :)

And by the way,He seems to be a very nice guy to do buisness whith :)

My wife thought my collection of 90+ was excessive. Maybe you gave me some breathing room :up
 
I also bought him some MF, a MF mitt and a chenille pad. Yesterday I tested the MF towel to remove wax and they are great! One of the best I have :up
 
Serg, Blk, let me know if you got yours.......I sent something to Pats300zx, and short of looking it up, i think all of yours went out at about the same time.......

Not yet Patrick, but you did not send it out until Wed (Jan 21). I don't except the order until Saturday or the latest Monday. ( Cali- Va).:D
