Plexiglass ?

Hawaiianelement

I love silicone !!
aloha DC members , If you haven't read my aircraft post ,I'm looking at detailing Cessna's and was told be VERY CAREFUL of the canopy glass because its plexiglass and scratches easy. Do you guys have an over the counter product thats easy on plexiglass? Or what I should stay away from?
Thanks alot..

Klasse specifically advertises that it is safe on plexiglas. You just need to use a non-abrasive product to clean with. Something like Klasse All In One should do the trick. Just use a soft applicator when you apply it so that you don't run the risk of any scratches that way.

I think plastx can be used on plexiglass. If there are a lot of scratches or haze, it will clean it up nicely.

If Im not mistaken Plexus is used on canopies of aircraft.
Probably a MF and plexus should do the trick of cleaning the windows.

If you can't find Plexus in a local store , I know you have boating stores around your area . You might want to check one of them for it or a product by Yacht Brite called Pro Polish its used on the eisenglass (its that clear plastic like glass in canvas tops) Look around on this site LINK Here's something else to read over .LINK Good luck

I did a motorcycle farring with AIO, and it worked great. The farring had a lot of light scratches. It was crystal clear after I applied AIO. I applied it with my Wen mini orbital.

I would use Klasse AIO or PlastX. I know plastx is safe for aircraft use. AIO is great also. Used it on my clear licsence plate cover and work wonderfully.
