Please - what to use and what order?

I have quite a few cleaning products now and have just bought a PC. I want to detail my wife's black car which is 2.5 years old and has been washed using an automatic car wash about 5 times. Keep in mind this is in the UK where cars seem to get dirty so much quicker.

The car's paint is oxidised, swirled and scratched. These are the products I have (I'd rather not buy anymore):

Porter Cable (In the post from Autopia)

Sonus SFX pads

Sonus Clay and lube

Sonus SFX-2 (I think this comes free with the PC)

Poorboys SSR2.5

Meguiars DC Step 1

Meguiars DC Step 2

Meguiars NXT tech wax

Meguiars Scratch-X

AutoGlym SRP (I hate using this stuff)

AutoGlym EGP

P21S Wax

Which of these should I use, which order and on which pads?

Any help is greatly appreciated. I'll be taking detailed photos when I detail the car which I'll post up here.

Many thanks. :xyxthumbs

P.S. This is my first post! :grinno:

Wash

Clay

Now polishing with the PC prefered approach is start with mildest combo first, I would try the SFX 2 with the White Polishing Pad first ( no experience of this product myself though) if that does not cut it step up to the Yellow Cutting Pad. If the swirls remain you may need to wash out the pads ( if you dont have spares) and try again with the SSR 2.5.

If this works and no hazing remains. You could do DC2 and then NXt.

Personally - I know you say you dont like the AG SRP, this products is so good with a PC, goes on nice and thin so no dust. Blue SFX Pad.

AG EGP by hand.

Top with P21s after 24 hours.

Welcome to Autopia.

It is hard to add anything more to Rich's post except to say the Sonus is a great polish but if you have severe swirls you might need something stronger (SFX-3?) but SFX-2 is a good place to start

It will yes so either do

1. SFX or SSR 2.5, then Megs DC 2 and then NXT

or

2. SFX or 2.5 if needed, AG SRP and then EGP and top with P21s
