I have no experience with sealants, just wax.I have several light colored cars to do "Family stuff" And they do not wax and wash 1 time per week. What sealant would you suggest I use topped with Natty's after the sealer.I will wash, dry, clay, buff, seal and then wax.Just have no experience and they will not be caring for the vehicles like I do mine.:thanks:dnaughty:crazy2:

I like to use Polish w/ Sealant as a base to the Natty's. It's easy, saves a step after claying , looks and protects very well ....
but there are dozens of sealants to choose from and there should be plenty more opinions :howdy

I will list some sealants that I personally like on light colored vehicles. they may not be flavors of the month anymore, but they are good products.

1) Four Star UPP
2) Meg's NXT 2.0
3) Duragloss (I think the pure selant - they call it polish) 105
4) PB's EX-P
5) Wolfgang
6) Zaino Z-2 Pro

The only one I would say is in any particular order is the UPP. It is one of my all time favorites.

Personally, I would not top any of those with a wax.

Simple easy and works real well. That describes my thoughts on Poorboy's with Sealant. A very good product. I use it and love it. Does not need a topper but I do it anyway. Just because I can.

I'm lovin' the PB Polish w/ Sealant... I don't have the luxury of a garage so I detail outside and sometimes in the sun.

I like several of JaredP's suggestions, specifically (but in no particular order), the 4Star UPP (I haven't tried the upgraded version), Meg's NXT (I haven't tried the 2.0 version, but have read that it is an improvement over the original), and PB's EX-P. I would add to that list PB's EX, especially if the color is a solid white. EX-P for metallics.

As for topping, the EX is the only one I have topped with a wax. I can't honestly say that topping improved either the longevity or the appearance.

What would be better for solid balck, EX or EX-P ?

Also does either one have an easier or harder application/removal process. I've been using WG but it's quite expensive and figuresd to go with PB this summer.

Thanks

I've always heard that EX is for darker colors due to it's wax content. You might want to look into Poorboy's Black Hole glaze as well.

I agree, but there a many people who like EX-P on dark colors for it's clarity. The look of a vehicle is very subjective and you(the owner) have to like the final results;)

I'll count myself in the EX camp for non-metallic black or white or red or...:) Before I got EX-P I even used EX on a metallic based Pewter (picture darker than silver, lighter than grey/gray). Yep, it muted the flake in the paint considerably, but in the early morning/evening light the paint practically glowed.

Ease/difficulty of application/removal seem pretty equal to me between the two PB products. I've never used WG, so I can't offer up a comparison.
