I have a small scratch in my hood (about an inch and not sure how it happened). Can Meg Scratch X will help to remove that scratch? Also, my other concern, Im thinking about to use Klasse twins after I apply the Scratch X. Once I apply the AIO, will it remove the applied Scratch X? Just dont want to do extra work. Any opinion???

it depends on how deep the scratch is, how soft/hard the paint is, and how much effort you can put into it.

scratch x is a hand polish...once you are done with it you wipe it away...there should be nothing left on the paint from it once you are done. you will be attempting to "level" the paint to remove the scratch, not fill/hide it.

can you post a pic of the damage?

I would post pic if I have a chance to do it today. But anyway, thanks for the reply. I would say the scratch is not deep as I can't feel it when I touch it with my finger nail. Also, Im not really sure if my car's paint is hard or soft. I have a Toyota Sequoia, hope these help in determining whether I have a hard or soft paint. Just as I asked in the beginning, will the AIO will removed the Scratch X if I decide to put AIO on top of Scratch X?

If you can't feel it with your fingernail, you should be able to remove it. Depending how deep it is, however, it may take a while if doing it by hand. Polish with the Scratch X, and remove with a microfiber. If the scratch is still there, repeat until it is gone. You are essentially 'sanding' the surface of the clearcoat down to the scratch to remove it.

You are then safe to use the AIO if you want.

Hope this helps.

You're an angel. Thank you for your help. Yeah I figured I have to pass more than one in order to remove it by hand. But I think it shouldn't be that bad because its not deep. So just apply scratch X then wipe it off with MF then apply again and so on. Thanks!

Do you think scratch x will also remove a white paint in my suv? I think it got hit with something and as a result it leave some white paint. Its not a scratch, it seems that white paint got applied in my paint. Do I make sense at all or did I just confuse you? Tried clay before but it did not remove it. Anyway thanks again.

Try Clay Magic on the paint transfer before polishing. It should take most of the paint off so you'll have much less polishing to do.
