Hi everyone, been reading up on the forums for the last week and have been overwhelmed by all the information on Autopia. A few weeks ago, I decided to detail my car for the first time. This is how I plan on detailing, please give me some feedback.

1. Car Wash w Meguiar's NXT

2. Pinnacle Clay Bar w Poorboy's Spray & Wipe Waterless Wash

3. SSR 2.5 or 1 w/ PC

4. Klasse AIO

5. Klasse Sealant by hand

6. Natty's Blue Paste Wax

7. Poorboy's Spray & Gloss

I have a black truck and want a real deep and wet shine. First some questions.

- Should I apply the AIO via PC or hand?

- I plan on applying multiple coats of Klasse sealant, I know I need to wait 24hrs between coats. I dont have a garage to work in and will be working in the sun, probably around 80-85 degrees, in a day the truck accumulates a lot of dust, do i need to wash before I apply the next coat?

- I will be applying 303 aerospace protectant on all of the trim, when should I apply the 303?

- How is Natty's Paste Wax and will it really bring out the black in my truck? Should I do something else?

Thanks for the help!

only thing i am not to sure about with what u did is doing the sealant and then a wax?......not real familiar with those products but you should prolly give the sealant at least a coupla days to cure before you apply a wax on top of that.....

as for your last question....the polish is whats gonna bring out your shine not your wax....if you didnt polish well enough its not gonna shine enogh with the wax..

At the very least use a DS between coats of sealent if your truck is going to be outdoors while you wait for 24hrs to elapse. Make sure not to drive it and park where it will stay clean (no water sources, trees, mounds of dirt, etc)

You need to find some shade when working with the Klasse SG. Its a PITA getting that stuff off in perfect conditions.... Make sure you do 1 panel and then wipe it off and move to the next panel :2thumbs: you will love the look !! And nattys will be a great topper after 3 coats of SG.
