Plastic trim in trunk

The interior edge of a 2003 Corvette is made of some sort of black plastic. It has a mottled/streaked look. I was hoping to make it a dark consistent black. This what it looks like now.

303 protectant

Mother's back to black



Nothing seems to make a difference. Someone called it a water channel and suggested staying away from water based applications



Any suggestions?

It is a water channel for when it rains, and therefore dressings will be subjected to tougher conditions in there. Chemical Guys Liquid Extreme Shine and Poorboy's Trim Restorer are both excellent, durable trim restorers.

I'd restore it to black first with VM, Poorboys Pro polish or P21s finish restorer

If finish restorer does the job, then go VM, a vinyl-plastic-rubber conditioner and then a trim dye like TOL's or Klasse SG x 4 coats
