I've got a sapphire black M5 that has some light to medium swirls, as well as a several scratches scattered across the car (about half a dozen, 1" to 3" in length, not too deep).
I'm fairly new to detailing (I've only done a couple of cars). I have a griots DA and a no-name rotary (that I'd rather not use). I have no experience dealing with BMW paint.
Once I get the car washed and clayed, can someone recommend a plan of attack? Which pads? Which polishes? Should I compound? Which sealant?
I know its a loaded question, but roughly how long should I spend on a given panel - say the hood for example?
Thanks in advance
