Pinnacle Soveran Spary Wax & Crystal Mist

I've got a tub of Souveran and use Souveran Spray wax as top up after washing the car.

I'm unsure as to how the Spray wax differs from Crystal mist other than the fact that Crystal mist can also be used as a QD.

I've already got three other QD's (Poorboy's Spray and Wipe & Spray and Gloss, and Britemax #6).

Would I see any benefit to adding Crystal Mist to my product arsenal?

Crystal mist retails for the same price as Souveran spray wax in the UK and I need convincing (or otherwise), as to whether it is worth my while buying another (comparatively expensive) QD, or whether I should just stick to what I've got already.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

go with souveran spray wax. its much easyer to apply .and leaves an aawesome just waxed look....crystal mist is good but takes alittle more rubbing to remove. also leaves a nice look ..... i have both

Nice one.

Thanks for the reply mate.

One question I forgot to put in my first post was whether Crystal Mist can be used on a wet car as a drying aid.

Have you used it in this way at all?

Hello

CM used to be a spray wax, it isnt anymore. You can apply CM when you dry, i tend to but i use the "flood" method remove 90% of the water from my car.

Mixing CM with water on the car would probably just result in diluted CM; less looks and probably less effective protection. The new non spray wax formular does imo leave pretty decent protection behind!

I think you may have the products mixed up...Crystal Mist is the easier of the two as it is a spray detailer with a slight amount of carnauba in it - still a spray and wipe process. Souveran Spray Wax is an actual spray wax and needs to be sprayed, spread, and buffed.

You can use Crystal Mist when drying the car. It's great to use after each wash to boost your wax - you'll notice that your wax will last WAY longer following this procedure. :)
