Due to the recent Autopia Sale I had already topped up my Souveran supply and then was able to grab a can of the Signature while it was on sale to. Thanks to a fellow UK Autopian on here grabbing me a can. Cheers Shaun. (182 Blue)
Part off my thinking was that the Signatures formulation for metallics may just give the gold flacke i my black paint a little more pop. I was also curious to how close it looks to the Souveran.
Test bed was a metallic black paint which is well polished and currently had 3 layers off Wolfgang and a few week old application of Carnuba Moose Wax. So maybe this is not the best test off the two products but I wasnt at a stage I wanted to repolish and get a base just to test these to.
Going around the car I did most panels 50/50 split, this was done on the hood, roof, rear tailgate, one rear quater, one front panel and one door.
As much as it pains me to say this I really struggled to see a difference between the waxes. Earlier in the year even with a camera I could see the difference Souveran made when applied over Wolfgang. As hard as I loooked from close up and various distances standing back panels looked identical. The souveran sides may have a *slight* and I really mean a slightly wetter look, but hardly noticeable.
I am not sure if the difference's would have been more apparent directly over a sealant or glaze, because as it has been discussed on here before that CMW is very close in apperance to Souveran.
Wondered if anyone else had done a side by side with these pair?
Also thought this maybe off help to those who have Signature and maybe are thinking off stepping up. IMO the differnce is minimal.
On a side note has any one used the Sonus Carnuba Spritz, just got my first bottle - as soon as I smelt it I could tell it was close to EF Clear Pearl. Use and results as well as the smell etc, this is one instance of a very Similar product, not sure if this has been discussed before but I couldnt tell any difference?
