Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax Polycharged

I have witnessed the wetest, deepest, shine on any car I have detailed. The red RX8 took on a experiment this weekend. My car was fully preped. Included PO85RD and other glazes and polishes. Then came the WOW factor. I took a old tin pot and CAFEFULLY melted about 3 oz. of Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax and added two doses of Polycharger. Stirred around to mix it and poured it in another empty PS container. Waited for it to harden. But in never did. It just turned out to somewhere between a gel and a liquid. But that did not keep me from using it.

I applied four coats over the weekend. Easy on and easy off. Did the whole car before removal. Each coat showed increased performance. The final result is awesome to say the least. I have tried many many waxes and sealants but this combo is unbeleiveable. My car looks like a candy apple! I am waiting for the last coat to fully cure then I will add Z-CS to seal it in. I just wonder what would happen if I added more coats of PS to it but I can't see how it could look any better. Lynn send me a free bottle of PC. Just kiddin. I did not use it all and it still remains in the gel liquid state. I don't know if it is still good since the 48 hours have pasted but I would think since it is in a semi-liquid state it is still good. All I can say is WOW.............................

3oz. of Souveran?? That's very close to half the jar. I hope you can save and re-use the leftover polycharge/Souveran mixture!

I never knew you are supposed to melt the paste waxes to add polycharger... interesting, but I'm not gonna give it a shot anytime soon.

I can use it. It is a question on if the polycharge does what id suppose to do. The wax is still good and green in color. Funky lookin'..........

It's not "officially" recommended for liability reasons (some inattentive goof could get burned, catch his kitchen on fire, etc.), but several people have experimented with it. IIRC, others' experiences mirrored MDRX8's; the resulting mix didn't harden completely, but was usable. No idea on shelf life, though.

MDRX8- Interesting, I like the sound of this one! I'll be interested to hear about the shelf life.

Did you let the PCed Souveran set up before you buffed it off or did you W-O-W-O? (FWIW I let Souveran set up but a lot of people just W-O-W-O)

No pictures I want to give it a coat of Z CS tonight. Acc. yes I let it set up some. Started from top work my way down to finish whole car. Then buffed off in the same order. I can't decide if to add another coat of PC-PS or CS. I think (bad thing to do) I have gotten about the maximum shine, depth, wetness out of the PS.

MDRX8- OK, thanks for elaborating about the set-up time.

Heh heh, I'd probably be leery of doing anything more to it out of fear that I'd mess it up :D Sure hope any subsequent steps (e.g. the ZCS) aren't ill-advised, I'd probably just do one more coat of the PCed Souveran if I felt I had to do something. Hard to leave well-enough alone sometimes, huh ;)

Acc. I am going to leave it alone and add the CS .... But I know I will get the fever within the next few days to do something to it....How do you cure it? My chrome rims have AIO and Men. acrylic jacket on them so nothing to do there. Guess we don't have a Doctor Detailer that uses this forum, cause I need one badly!!!!!!!! One day when my ship comes in I will trade the RX8 for a Red Vette then I will go postal!!!!!

Isn't adding Polycharger supposed to give you the longevity you'd get from any of the other sealants, with your Souveran looks?

Why seal it with Z?

Didnt you just have CS over PS in a pic you posted the other day on your car?

You polished the car again and reapplied the same combination?

Did it mute the flake at all?

Yes I had CS over PS. But it was not polycharged. So I removed it and applied the polycharged PS.......I can't keep it alone for more than a week....I am a addicted........

Interesting, Have you used Z2 Pro or Z5 Pro? Any comparisons to this look? Is CS compatible with any Carnauba?
