Pinnacle Signature

I am finally at the point to put this on after removing the swirls. I used 3MPIIRC 39002 for the heavy swirls, and then followed up with the Pinnacle Swirl Remover. I just finished applying the Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion.

There is already a nice shine, and the silver flake appears to be popping quite good!

I want to apply this with a PC7424. What speed does everyone use when applying this? I will be using a Black polishing pad and will be applying one panel at a time.

Thanks again.

I apply the Sig. by hand, using a MF applicator and applying in straight lines, not circles. Then I remove it by PC with a MF bonnet. I have the speed set about 4.5.

P.S. I only do one panel at a time, as you don't have to let the Sig. completely dry (easier to remove).

You can pop the wax out of the jar into a (clean) plastic baggy. Then, hold the wax in one hand with the PC/Finishing pad in the other, lay it on the wax, and turn it on speed 1-2 to get the wax on the pad. Then, apply to the panel at speed 2-3 and buff off. :)

Another possibility is using a putty knife (or similar spatula type instrument) to scoop it out and spread it on the pad. (I apply by hand too, though)

OK, found the article, where they pop the wax out, and apply to the pad:

BetterCareCare

They just mention to use a low speed.

If the weather is nice tomorrow, I will be trying it then.

Thanks
