you can use a program like photoshop to resize your pictures, and make it 300kb's. also someone here mentioned a free program to resize your picture, but i forgot what it was called.
You can use a free utility to resize your images. Here's one called Pic-Sizer. i just searched for it and have never used it myself, but it should do the job.
