Okay, today I was gonna wash my car, and it ended up turning into a full detail.. Here's what I did.

1. Wash

2. One coat of turtle wax carnuaba

3. Final coat of Eagle One Nano Wax

I normally wouldnt have put the turtle wax on, but after finding that Nano Wax doesnt have the longest life span, I put that on under it to give it a little more protection as the nano wax wears off. For the tail lights, I used 3m Perfect-It rubbing compound to get the oxidation off, then used the turtle wax, followed by Nano Wax.

I've done a fair amount a details before, but this is one of, if not the best looking :)

The engine and interior weren't really done today, the pictures are just so you can see what it looks like.\

Anyways, this is my first post but I'm a long time lurker :)

any critiques are much appreciated!

Kevin,

First, :welcome to Autopia. It's great to see new detailers on here!

From what I can see, your car looks great. As far as being able to critique your work, you are going to have to post some closer pics than the current ones. Just so you know, Autopia hosts it's own pictures and you can save all your pics in your gallery and you can then insert them directly into your posts so members don't need to click on a link to see your details. Next, when taking your pictures, try to get as close as possible to the surface so we can help you out as best as we can.

Overall, it looks like you did a great job and your car is in awesome condition. I love the black leather interior. :xyxthumbs

Again, welcome to the board, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your details!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys :)

Heres a few more pics of it close up. I'm not sure if theres an easy way for you guys to get to my gallery so I'm just putting a link in here.

thanks, I'd like to get some nicer products, but right now I'm pretty much broke so I'm trying to find good "bang for the buck" stuff ;) I think it turned out pretty darn well considering both waxes are in the >$10 range.
