GOT PREP?
This is my brother's car, yes we share DNA and have the same parents. :) The car has not been washed in YEARS. I waxed it in 98, to my knowledge that is the only time it has ever been waxed.

Before on the interior, this after I cleaned out everything "big."

Afer on the interior, i replaced the floormats so keep that in mind. The vinyl is dressed with meguiars natural shine (maroon bottle). On the interior carpets I used an APC with the little green clean machine. Some of the grass had welded itself to the carpet so......

Here is the exterior after. I spent almost 2 hours cleaning just the wheels, they could use about 2 more. I used an acid based wheel cleaner and an assortment of brushes.

On the paint, I washed, clayed, DACP w/ yellow meg's pad @5.5, then topped with NXT. I was tired, I started about 9:00 and finished up around 4:30.

You are a great brother. I always think it's fun to do a car like that every so often just for the before and afters.

The people who designed those wheels (and BBS, some BMW wheels etc...) will spend the fiery eternal detailing their own wheels armed with only QD and Kleenex:D

First give him a slap upside the head for letting himself let his car get that dirty in the first place THEN put him up for adoption..j/k:lol

Massive improvement! :bow

Your brother owes you big time. Stripper might need to be involved. ;)

I agree with thinksnow about the wheels, that design is pure evil.

Are you sure you guys are related?

I wouldn't picture that car anywhere near yours, let alone at the same house.

Anyways, the detail looks amazing! Quite an improvement on a car that needed sooo much help.

 :scared :shocked

NICE, nice job :xyxthumbs

What wheel cleaner did you use?! That's a helluva an improvement for the wheels!

It is a basically just your everyday $10 a gallon wire wheel cleaner. VERY strong, VERY dangerous when used improperly. I cut it 50/50, spray, agitate, rinse, repeat no dwell time at all on clear coated wheels. On anything else, I would not even have considered using it, but this car definitely warranted its' use.
