Picked up my Porter cable today

Finally picked one up, the 7336, now Im just waiting for my order from pakshak to come in. Then I can get to work on polishing all my family and friends cars... well after mine of course.



The machine does make somewhat of a funny noise, Im guessing its normal but I cant really describe it. Sounds as if its grinding in a way? Im use to Air tools though so maybe Im just not familiar to electric polishers.



Just sharing the excitement.
 
Congrats Jeff!! Lowe's had the 7336? ( $100.00? ) I'd really like to know what EXACTLY is the difference between the 7336 & 7224. I'm trying to decide if I should go to Lowe's for the 7336 or get the 7224 from Amazon.com ( $119.95 w/free shipping ) Either way, the Sonus DAS Pad Kit ($49.95) + the 12% Autopia discount looks pretty good to me. ( $51.46 w/shipping)
 
I did buy the 7336 at Lowes, came out to 104.97, I also order the Sonus DAS pad kit from Autopia as well as Souveran last week when they had the sale on the Souveran.



Now I just need to get my SSR1, 2.5, AIO, UPP, 6MFs, Window MF from Pakshak and Im ready to go at it.



My dads 97 Towny has tons of swirls but with them polished out I think it will look killer. Its the dark red/maroon color so Im sure it will have tons of depth and shine.



I also just want to maintain my mothers 99 Rav4, Green. Not much for depth or shine as she doesnt really care, but I just want it to look good for her.
