Photoshoot

Hi

Well I picked the PC 7336SP from Lowes and await the CMA Pad kit to be delivered.

I currently have little or no shade available at my home so I wondered if any other PC owners had used their buffers powered from an DC-AC power inverter.

If yes details please. Manufacturer. Watts both continuous & peak, cost. Again I ownly wish to serve the PC buffer with the unit.

We have quite a few large park - like areas where abundant shade is available but no power. This cuts down on the neighbor comment factor as well -hey my cars next kind of thing.

Thanks Again

Hmmmmmm..If you do find one check it for wattage rating and compare to the watt draw of the PC so you do not burn enything up.

How about buying a cheap tent like thingy to assemble and drive your car under at home?

Do not think "tent" would be possible. Parking is limited as it is and I am extremely luckly to park near or in front of my own house. In the neighborhood we have 4 and 5 car family's with no driveways so it really is like that one Seinfeld episode - people watching in windows for spots to open then running out to move their cars.

funny you should ask...... I'm the laughing stock of the water cooler/breakroom at work for this very reason. I took my PC to work with me one day because it was supposed to be incredible weather...... at lunch I plugged it into an inverter...... hung the cable out a cracked drivers side window, and put 2 coats of Z2 on the car in the parking lot.

Yes, the PC works fine on inverter as long as the engine is running as not to drain the battery too much, and you dont go at speed 6 (draws too much power as I found when it killed my car..... had to jumpstart to get her going again.)

:up

Before the game today, Sam @ Premier needed a few of our customers cars wiped down for a promotional photo shoot. All the cars had the entire body wrapped and for the exception of the 458 Italia the cars were wrapped with Premier's satin film.

These were not details or full corrections just wipedowns to make the car presentable in photos.

Getting to work.

Nice group of cars. Did you see any hacker signs on the film wrap or just normal wear since you didn't fully detail these yourself?

Woha Bob!
That is some collection of cars there.:drool5::drool5:
It looked like a really cool way to spend a day. You really liked driving the CLK didn't you?;)

Ol' Kirb does get around. I see his stuff on most of the auto-forums that I haunt.

Looks like it was a fun day. Sunshine and no snow. I was ready to buy a ticket to the Bay Area after the third photo. :Snowman:

That's Bob - always working on the cheaper cars around.

AND you had to drive a Black Series? Oh man... the lengths you go to for your clients ;)

Hope to see some of the final pics from the photographer - all the cars look beautiful so I can't imagine once he is done with his editing.
