Phantom Scratch

I picked up a 2" vertical scratch on my black RX 300 fender (single stage paint).



Can't feel it with fingertip, nail or even through a baggie. Can't see it except in direct sun or under halogen...at certain angles.



I hit it with ScratchX...no luck, so I pulled out the PC. I hit it with PIIIMG white pad, then yellow and then white again. I worked it good.



Still there. :nixweiss



Any suggestions for a PC?



edit- The rest of the fender is a brilliant glossy, swirl-free thing of beauty. Love that PIII.

As I mentioned, it's single stage paint. No clear.



Since I picked up ClearKote Quick Shine on 6/19 and washed and waxed my RX on 6/20, I've examined the entire vehicle several times. I'll try and take a pic.
 
Fixed...Bought a bottle of PII-FC Compound.



Two applications with a yellow pad, followed up with an application of PIIIMG on a white pad and ba-da-BING! It looked really, really good after the PII, but I thought I'd burnish it with the PIII.



It's a thing of beauty once again. :xyxthumbs



I still don't know how it got there.
