PH - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
this goes over the definition of ph balanced and various ranges and levels of acid ..... this ph balance or lack there of (to much acid) can cause damage to your cars paint, this is very important when choosing car detailing products
its interesting just wanted to share and hear comments

You can also have "too little acid" (too alkaline). The scale is something to pay attention to with regards to how harsh a product may be to your skin as well as the paint/interior/whatever.

Something to consider, though, is that sometimes you need something that isn't neutral to counteract a "stain." (acid against a base (alkaline), a base against something acidic.)

Also, something may not be pH neutral in its concentrated form (like shampoo) but is neutral when diluted in the wash bucket.

Sorry, but I didn't get too much out of the article that pertained to car care. Too many numbers and formulae. I think I froze and had flashbacks from school! :scared: :gotcha: :yikes:

yeah i think the key is to have a ph "balance" or neutral, posted the article because i heard of ph but wasnt exactly sure what or how it worked or the idea behind it this article kind a gives a good back ground behind ph
