Pet hair?

I use a chemical guys rubber brush. That`s always worked good for me. I`ll also just put on a nitrile exam glove and just run my hand across the fabric with the vacumm nozzle right next to it. The glove will help pull the hairs out and then the vacumm will just suck everything up.

Heh heh, between the house and the vehicles this is an ongoing part of my life :D I seem to use a lot of different approaches, guess that means that none of them have proved truly optimal.

Yeah, rubber brushes and exam gloves can work well. Some of my vacuum attachments made for upholstery have a strip of rubber "fingers" (similar to the raised nubs on the rubber brushes) that help raise it up enough that the vacuum can suck it up.

For use without a vacuum:

"Pet hair sponges", which are used *dry*. I have one that`s called (IIRC) the "Gonzo" and another that`s configured sorta like a window squeegee.

Lint/pet hair rollers. I generally prefer the "permanently sticky, rinse under water to clean" ones over the type that have a roll of low-tack/transfer- adhesive as those *do* sometimes transfer a little adhesive to whatever I`m cleaning (actually, is is hardly ever a real issue).

I use ..the tuff shine tire brush for pet hair.

Isn`t a Tire Brush kinda aggressive for use on velour-type fabrics? I use pretty aggressive brushes on carpets, but I`m always leery of messing up fabrics, having done so on some household furniture :o

That has me thinking how I`ve never tried my (!pricey!) ValuGard Velour Brush for pet hair.. hmmm, wonder if it`d be any good.

I only use [the Tire Brush] on carpet floor mats. The aggressive bristles do a great job with hair and loosening up deeply embedded dirt.

Ah, OK...might`ve known but I figured "better safe than sorry". Hope I didn`t come across as, uhm...insulting your intelligence or anything.

pumice "pet" stone for the win
and also Dan`s famous crevice brushes work well (and a grout brush helps for tight areas)
I absolutely cant` stand the rubber bristled pet brushes, never worked for me

I`ve seen others use a carpet brush on a DA for the back cloth parts of the seats that get the dog hair matted down into them

See how experiences differ? :D

Gentle-enough brushes on the Cyclo are *very* effective, never tried it with other DAs though.

Can`t watch the infomercial but I`ve had very good luck using the Schticky for pet hair in my vehicles.

They clean up with water and seem to last fairly well. You can pick a 3 pack of the middle sized one in the picture for less than $10.

That sounds like one of the ones I have. Don`t get too aggressive about cleaning them if/when just rinsing doesn`t do the job.
I look at these as a disposable piece. I`ve also used a stiff brush under warm water to get the hair to move off of these, just don`t push too hard.
