Has anyone heard of this Permaplate? I found the car I wanted in the color I wanted but it was in Orl. The dealer was a Autonation dealer. I inspected the car in full sunlight and my led flashlight. Paint looked great with minimal DISO.

Then I see this permaplate sticker on the window. The Permaplate added $800 to the price of the car but I did not pay for it.

SO what the hell does $800 add?? I researched it a bit and can this be removed with polishing? And same with the interior, I will be coating the leather with Black Label.

permaplate is their polymer coating that costs them about $50 applied by a min wage worker in the back...pure profit crap.....CquartzUK is $59 if you want a good coating...

coatings need to have a pure perfect surface before putting on, I guarantee you that did not happen. Polish it off and choose your method you like of protection. I like Blackfire and Prima myself.

ex-General manager of a Porsche Audi BMW dealer here, I've seen all these renditions over the years...all dealer profit builders because everyone want their cars at "invoice" now...

I used to do it when I work for a Nissan dealer we had 3 out of 5 cars come back because the leather and plastic sealer would dry streaky and would leave it greasy too
