Perfecting My Posting

Got Wax

New member
Here is a recent job. Again, I am working on improving my posting and storyline structure. I need to hire a sidekick to help taking "Action Pics" so I can get an ongoing process of the job.

Anyway, this is a 1990 F40 that has spent time on the track, in the garage and was just needing some attention. The owner really wanted me to be a bit more aggressive than I felt comfortable being. This car has, what I view as, small fisheyes and he wanted me to wet sand them. My Positest doesn't read paint on CF and I wasn't interested in paying for a repaint so, I wasn't willing to go that aggressive. Bob @ Auto Concierge was great at providing his perspective and position on how he would handle the client.

When I first saw the car, it was just plain dusty and dirty. So, I used the following:

Wheels/Tires: P21S/Megs Med. Clay and APC

Wash: Adams Car Wash w/Uber Wool Mitt

Dry: DD Drying Blankets

Coumpound: Meg 105 on Meg Foam Polishing Pad/9227 Rotary

Polish: Menz PO106A on Uber Final Polish Pad/9227 Rotary

LSP: Hand Applied Swissvax Mystery X 2

Wheels/Tires: Swissvax Autobahn WW/Adams VRT

First shot is of a dirty old Ferrari:

I first got on the wheels with P21S Swisssvax Brush, tires got an APC bath

***!!!?? I can't seem to get the pic size figured out! Way too small!! I've adjusted them before loading them to Photobucket.

cant believe you didnt call me on this one....tisk tisk!

dont adjust before PB...just let them all load up and PB will resize for you. Thats what I do. All my pics are taken straight from camera to computer at the 2400x1800 or whatever size 10.1mp is from a canon xsi

If I would have called you, I imagine most of these pics would have been shot by someone else with both you and me in the background, in beachchairs tipping back Stellas!!!:LOLOL

It just sucks trying to transfer a bunch of pics to photobucket at there regular size..the upload rate on my end must suck, it seems to take forever to just upload like 5 pics, at 8 MP
