I'd be more upset if I actually liked Hockey.... I'm just so used to seeing the wings always win. But hey we do win all the time I guess it was time to share the spotlight a little bit LOL
I have liked the city of Pittsburgh, from the time I did my student teaching there when the Steelers were starting to win Super Bowls.
It is a city full of friendly people, minus the attitude you sometimes get elsewhere. I'm not a city guy, but if I had to pick one to live in, it would be the 'Burgh.
I got into watching hockey this season. When you think about it, it is much more interesting and exciting to watch than, let's say, soccer.
So, I do salute the Penguins, and the Steel City. If only the Pirates were better : (
