I haven't driven my car in over a week, because of the snow. I would normally drive it, since it has great traction control, but it looks way too perdy to taint for the first time ;)

Who else is down for the count? I'll drive it again for work probably after New Years.

Put over 1600 miles on the SopranoMobile from the 20th to the 27th.

All the way to KC, via Illinois, Iowa, then down to the Ozarks, over to St Louis and back up to Cincy.

Will take it in to one of the shops Monday and have the boys clean it up.

Will take a look and probably have to do a couple of chip touch-ups and a couple of light passes with the rotary, reseal it with the sealant and a coat of Finishing Wax, then back on the road.

I only have one car (a truck, actually) so I don't have a choice but to drive it. We don't have any snow here in central Illinois, but the temps been in the 20's (high) for the past two weeks so I've been "down for the count" as far as washing goes. Last night I finally broke down and took it to the blas-o-matic and used their cursed soap and all. After I got home I QD'd the remaining residue off using lot's of QD. I had to swipe the frozen water drops off a few panels though! I'm going to SMR it this spring, so I guess a few marks from QDing the residual dirt won't hurt. It's that or a filthy truck...

We might get a cold rain on Monday (I hope not-I have a BMW M1 to detail-yes, an M1), but other than that, it has been pretty nice here.

My Lincoln has been put away for awhile. I have been driving the Explorer and its a total mess thanks to the 6 million pounds of salt they put on the roads here. :down

Don,

I got the touchup done on the Explorer a few days ago, and it looks great!:up I went very slow, no need to rush things. My Mom almost fainted when she saw me using sandpaper on one of my cars. :D

Where is that FLONIIIIIIIIIIIIIII................ It almost snowed here last night grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

They did have snow in Baton Rouge and other places but not in my driveway!!!!

Yall Take your weather back NOW!!!

I live in Columbus GA and this morning I went to leave for work 3 inches of snow on the ground. It sure was hard pulling my extra clean truck out into the weather when my wife's was outside and dirty. She was a sweet heart and told me to take hers instead:D

No snow in Sydney, just ranging bushfires that have covered Sydney in smoke for the last 10 days (started to clear this morning). The smoke is everywhere around the city and I mean everywhere. Looked down my driveway the other day and saw smoke, ash, smoke, ash and more smoke. And the nearest fires are about 10-15km away from where I live!

We're expecting 4-8" tonight. With no plows, salt, or sand trucks, the city will basically shut down...except for the soccer Mom's in Suburbans (gee whiz I can go everywhere in my big SUV...hey...why arent the brakes working!!)...they'll end up in ditches.

The Maxima can't be down for the count since it's my daily driver. As I stated in the New Year's Detailing Check, I did the smart thing and had a detail shop around my neck of the woods wash and wax the Maxima. But you can definitely see the difference with the Klasse/Pinnacle Souveran combo. :D

We had snow today in Dallas-luckily it was only light flurries and the roads stayed dry. My regular Wednesday customer still had all their cars done-they have a warehouse I can work in. :up

The 60 degree weather we had in December must have really spoiled me because it was in the teens this morning and I was really cold, brrr. At least the days are getting longer and the roads are dry. Damn, who has the cleany shine silver car amongst all the dirty salt covered other ones! haha

Heck, I drive mine all year as well. In fact I just had the BMW out to commemorate the first day of 2002. Driving a 2002 in 2002. Get it? :p
