I was wondering what you guys think about the new PDTA? Is it worth Joining? It seems like there are some benefits of joining.

There was a thread about it not long ago . Whether its worth joining depends on how serious you are about the detailing business as a profession. They have alot to offer and its not expensive to join .

PDTA has a very poor website in my opinion. I'm not a professional detailer by far, but that website doesn't seem to tell me anything about why I should join their association or what my money goes towards.

Am I missing something? Besides being put into a directory I think I am missing something? Fill me in. Please

Your missing alot , the association is in its infancy as it grows so will the changes to web site . When you inquire about joining the association you learn about all that it can offer you . As with any association it's only as strong as its membership .

Although not a member of PDTA, I can affirm that the individuals associated are stand-up, focused, and business-minded.

Why would I want to be a member of a restaraunt trade organization, if my extent with that industry was limited to dining out, cooking great food at home, etc.? Takes a lot of talent and HARD work to detail full time. Legit. Accounting, payroll, vendors, taxes, permits, licensing, suppliers,,,

Rollman said it right, yer missin the point of the PDTA.

Regards,

Mike
