PDF Invoices

Being environmentally sound and saving money are two things every business person has faced over the past 1 or 2 years.

One thing I do in order to save paper, postage (if I need to mail the invoice), and find better for keeping records, is that I've been emailing PDFs for invoices, proposals, etc.

The bad part is that I cannot have them fill it in and sign it without them having to print it out. Depending on payment method, they may even need to make a copy for themselves and one for mailing back.

I recently found this free web app called "Fill Any PDF". It allows people to fill in and even sign PDF and then send them back electronically. They don't need any expensive PDF software either...it's all done on the web.

While this also may help with invoicing, it may also help with filling out appraisals and check-ins while being mobile. I haven't used it yet, but I'm going to look into how it works and how I else I can use it.

Here's the link: https://www.fillanypdf.com/

While I am very tech-oriented, I have no affiliation with this app, its developers, or its website. I'm just passing on a potentially useful tool.:2thumbs:

If you use Adobe Acrobat to create the PDF, you can make them forms that can be filled in. The other person doesn't need to buy anything, only the person making the PDF does.

True, but for those of us who use accounting programs such as Simply Accounting that create PDFs of invoices automatically, this is a great option.

Thanks David !
