PC7424XP vs Flex

Well, I currently have an old PC, a Flex, a rotary, and just ordered a new PC7424XP.

How does the new 7424XP compare to the Flex? I am wondering if it's worth keeping the Flex.

While the XP is definitely an upgrade on the old PC, I dont really think it is in the same class as the Flex. You cant replace forced rotation simply by adding more OPM's.

If I were in your shoes, I would keep the Flex.

i would consider the PC7424XP an upgrade to your old PC, but it's not in the same league as the Flex...

Yeah, just junk the Flex. Hell, I'll give ya $50 for the old junker, what's your paypal, LOL.

Just kidding, those first two are right. It's an upgrade to the PC, but not near the Flex.

Are you talking the Flex DA (XC 3401) or the Flex orbital?

I have the Flex 3401, a PC 7336 (which is at the shop) and a 7424XP. I prefer the PC for 2/3 of my polishing work and nearly all of my glazing and waxing.

I love the 3401, but it definitely requires more attention and thought than the PC does, so it mainly comes out when I have either time constraints or a really tough job.
