PC with 4 3/4 backing plate?

I bought "the perfect shine ultimate polishing kit" about 4 years ago which came with a 4 3/4 velcro backing plate and 3 6.5 inch pads.



Is that backing plate still good with 5.5" CCS LC pads? I see now they sell 3.5 " backing plates and 5 inch plates. I dont see 4 3/4 plates? Any reason why they went away from that size?

That should work just fine with 5.5" Pads.



3.5" Backing plates accommodate 4" pads. Definitely consider picking some up, Orange at a minimum. :up
