pc vs orbital buffer

Go to the shop icon at the top of the page. Properautocare.com as well as the other links have info on the PC. You can achieve way better results with a PC. A $30-40.00 orbital buffer is good for taking off your layer of wax(when it hazes) after you applied it by hand. Especially when your whipped from an intense detail job.

let me repharse the question

i went to the local auto chain store and saw these buffer for 50 dollars. i was wondering what the difference btwn these 50 dollars buffer and a pc?

i really just wanted these too apply my wax with.

outsider - i'm no expert - but i think that it would depend on a few things:

How old your car is ?

What colour ?

Condition of paint ?

and how often you are going to use it ?

If you're going to use it to apply wax to relatively new paint, light in color, that is in excellent condition, then the cheaper buffer would probably do the job for you.

I have both a PC (7424) and an craftman orbital. The craftman is just too slow and too big, you cant really do the curves in the car, plus replacing the pads sucks. Also I dont know if you can get variaty in pads for the orbital.

But, if you like to apply things by hand, then the orbital can work well for removing waxes.
