PC Sound

i tested out my PC today, and at the lowest setting (1), i hear a grinding noise.



is this normal?

I don't know if it's normal; I don't believe I've never run the PC at speed 1. Sorry I can't be of more help, but IMO if it sounds OK at higher speeds I wouldn't worry about it.

At the lowest setting, the PC will make a grinding-type noise. It's just the gears turning, perfectly normal. You won't even notice it when you carnk the machine up to speed 6, LOL.

I thought the same when I bought mine on my hols. I pluged it in, tried it, and took it back.



The guy at Lowe's was very helpful and we tried others but they all sounded the same !



The noise seems to go with more speed and a bit of resistance.
