PC polishing: Strong enough to remove swirls, fine enough to leave a gloss finish?

Is there a pad and polish combo that is strong enough to remove swirls (especially on hard clear like a subaru has), yet fine enough to leave a good finish?

I have used a yellow pad and DACP with success in the swirl removal, but it leaves a haze (easily removed by stepping down in product and pad, but I'm trying to cut out a step if possible, to keep my price lower for friends I have started to detail for). I am pretty certain I was working the product all the way, but that could always be left open for discussion;)

I recently tried a white polshing pad with menzerna IP, and that wasn't strong enough to remove the swirls, obviously it left a gloss finish though.

I also recently bought an orange pad, that I have yet to try out. Will the orange (mild cutting), be my answer with one of the polishes I have?

Anyone go through this and find a good answer?

(going to try some things on a black test hood I have later this week, just hoping for solid suggestions)

They say OP is the answer to your prayers , I haven't tried this myself yet. A simple pad change is all thats needed to change the aggressiveness of the polish .

I've had good sucess with SSR2.5 and a Meg's burgandy or Sonus DAS orange pad. If you work it long enough I find you can go straight to LSP - on lighter colours anyway. OK so to get it to do this it dusts a bit but I find the clean up is much quicker than having to go get a milder polish. On dark colours I'll always step down to a milder polish out of principle.
