PC Oscillations per Minute?

Does anyone know how many oscillations per minute the numbers on the speed dial of the PC correspond to?

I just ordered some 4" Sonus pads for my PC and the write-up warns not to exceed 3000 OPM

Thanks!

The PC is 2500 - 6000 OPM, so I would assume that the numbers are OPM's x 1000. 3000 OPM would be setting 3?

I've never heard about this OPM maximum. I'm going to move this post to the Ask the Manufacturer Forum so that DavidB can reply to it.

The ramp-up on the PC dial is not linear. 3,000 OPM is 5 on the PC dial. I have used it at higher speed without issue. I made that recommendation for safety reasons.

So does it go from 3,000 on speed 5 straight to 6,000 on speed 6?
