PC Help for Ford Paint

Hey,

I have an 06 Black Ford Explorer. Living in the desert it gets covered daily with a layer of dust. I use PB S&W almost daily, at least every other day. I hit it with Z-6 a few times a week. With the dust and the regular wipings I know I can't avoid the marring that I am getting. Washing every other day is just not an option. Well someone was nice enough to get me the PC7424 kit with pads from Autogeek. This is a Zaino maintained vehicle. It is 6 months old and has gotten a new layer of Z about once a month. The swirls are not out of control, but I can notice some marring in the sun. Now my question is, which polishing/swirl remover products should I be leaning towards so I can easily go back to Zaino. I am leaning towards the SSR line or the Optimum line. It appears these have no glazes or oils and would be Zaino friendly. Any other suggestions or recommendations?

Thanks

Drew

Hmmmm? After applying what ever on your car try this wipe down your car with a MF real good and after that get an anti-static rag and wipe down. Or hose it down and wipe off, that will take off any residue and or static from your car. Use a car soap w/o conditioners such as Meguiar's hyper wash. It’s the residue and or the static on your car that is attracting the dust.

On a polish I would get one without leaving a polymer behind. Menzerna polish is a good one. I would remove the Z by polishing don’t forget to clay and start over again with the Z about 4 layers of it and apply a plan Carnauba Wax without any other added ingredients to the Carnauba. Souverän Paste Wax is a good choice. Carnauba gets real hard after 24 hrs.
