PC for wipe down / buffing

Anybody use their PC for wipe dow / buffing w/pad & MF bonnets?

I applied the Klasse twins to my ride on the week-end. I used the pc to apply AIO, but the wipe down for it (and KSG) were MF by hand.

Product with a lot of carrier might be a problem, but KSG has virtually no carrier to speak of and it would seem to me to be a real good candidate to use the pc with an MF or terry bonnet for the wipe down.

Thoughts and/or experiances?

I used to but after a while I came to realize that it is quicker and easier to simply wipe it down by hand with the same results.

I'd almost bet you get a higher polished look buffing with the polisher. I'm thinking it may not be practical if there's a lot of carrier dusting, but for something like KSG, I think it might be great.

Well, I'm gonna give it a go and see how it goes.

ive done both and never noticed a difference

It's an individual assessment, so to each his own call. For me it's not worth the extra time to mess with the PC to remove polish/wax but I'm trying to make a buck so time is important. To the individual on his/her own car, it may be worth the time to them.

The PC is moving at what...25, 50, 100 times faster than the human hand? How do you figure it would be faster to buff by hand?

Not looking to 'argue' here, it's just that in my very simple, little test it seemed both faster AND produced more shine. I'm especially interested because the KSG acrylic, even when applied thin, can be stubborn to buff. I think the PC will make shorter work of it.

Same here. Even with stuff like heavy carnauba pastes, I prefer removing with the machine and MF bonnets.

With KSG I really like "suede style" MF bonnets, but I still fog the surface with my breath when buffing.

Moving a machine is simply different from buffing by hand, so I can see people having different preferences. And doing it by Cyclo is different from doing it by PC too.
