PC 7424 backing plate stuck

I loaned my PC to a friend and now the small backing plate is stuck in the machine. A friend and I tried all we could to remove it. It looks like the next step is possibly a destructive method.....:nixweiss



I plan on trying an oil filter wrench (closest thing I have to a strap wrench). After that, all bets are off.



OR....just buy another PC and use the large backing plate in that one. :chuckle:



Any ideas before I ruin a backing plate or buy another PC?

A strap wrench should work. Sounds like you didn't use a washer or spacer.
