I just order my PC today, its model #7336SP. I believe its the same as #7424 with the 6" counter wieghts in already. At least that what the guy from LaPollos tools told me. I also order the pad kit from CMA. I got the PC for $127.00 Shipped! He said I should have it by the weekend which is good because I can practice on mom's car for Mother's Day before I do mine.

Has anyone got this PC #7336SP and have any tips?

I will post my finding on the PC after I have play with it a little.

Can't wait this is my first time! :bounce

heh... i'm sure that's just what she wants. That's the same route i went, 7336 + CMA pads. That was about 5-6 months ago. Since then i've migrated over to the meguiars pads... really that's just personal preference. As for my first time with the PC, i went with the wool pad and FI-II... really freaked out too as i thought i damaged my paint.

All i can say is take it slow. It's really an easy tool to use, but there are a lot of little tips and tricks. I've used mine far more times than i can count now (probably around 8 passes around a car a week on average) and i'm still learning things new every once in a while. The nice thing about it is that you can get stunning results not really knowing what your doing. But as you progress and learn the little tricks, the results only get better.

Dr. Jones - I'm glad to hear that I will be able to get good results from the start (and get better with time!).

I don't plan on using the wool pad at all (except for a backer for the bonnets). If I can find Meguiar's pads I'll give them a shot.

I picked up a 7336SP from Lowes for $109 ($115 with tax) and have the pad kit on the way from CMA. It should arrive tomorrow. I also got 2 of the micro fiber bonnets, as I absolutely LOVE micro fiber !!

I got great results with my first time I used it. It is so easy to use I can't wait for my next victim!!!!!! :D

PC where have you been all my life ????

Ya gotta love it! I'd never try to do another car by hand.. (other than the Klasse)

Glad you love it.. i do! :up

Working the Klasse is even easier with the PC...I apply with the pads (white (polish pad) for AIO & grey (wax pad) for the SG) and buff off the AIO by hand (takes very little effort). After the SG has set up, I buff it off with a Viper mf bonnet. Works GREAT !
