PC 7336SP on sale at Lowes

My local Lowes (eastern WA) has PC 7336SP on sale for around $65 (down from $109). It's practically the same as 7424.
I'll get one tomorrow.
 
I went there last week and they were on sale.... but for $101.99 I think. I guess it varies from store to store. For $65 and even $47 at some stores I would definitely pick one up as a spare. The only difference is the 7336 comes with a 6 in. backing plate and the 7424 comes with a 5 in.
 
The Lowes here has 3 left at $65. Not gonna carry them anymore....Clearance.
One box is ripped open, so I bet I can pick it up at half that......

Everytime one of these deals at Lowes comes around there are either none available at our local store or they are never on sale:confused:

Right before the holidays, I picked one up for 59. I'm thinking I should pick up another if they have gone down again. Had to go to three stores in three different cities and got different stories at each one. Price varied from 89 at one and 59 at another. Seems like the stores that are newer in the area dont drop the price as fast as the longer established stores(or they dont have it at all).

Guess that makes sense. My local Lowes is only a year old and hasn't dropped a lot yet...

My local Lowe's has been their for several years but they have no competition. I have compared the prices to a Lowe's in another city where they have a Menard's store just down the street and the prices are much lower than what they are in my local Lowe's that has no competitor.

Finally picked up a pc 7336sp from Lowes last night for $45 bucks w/ tax! I had to drive out of the way and sit in traffic for 30mins but very worth it. Now I need some pads, and new detail products...
 
Hey fellas.

I'm getting one of these from Lowes in the next couple of days.

I understand that the backing plate is a different size than the 7424.

Does that mean I will need to order different size pads? I know it's a noob question but......I'm a noob to polishers.

You probably will get more information and replies if you start a new thread with your questions.
The difference between the 7336 and 7424 is not the backing plate, but the counter bakance.
And you will need to order more pads, not because of size, but because the 7336 comes with only one.

i would call up or pm Troy and ask questions and get recommendations..he not only sells the pads and backing plates, but uses them in his daily detailing biz ;) don't forget to get your DC discount too :D

Your mileage will vary a huge amount with all these sales! Call ahead and ask them to check the region for the 7424! Otherwise I've heard display models can go as cheap as $26 and regular clearance prices of $40 - $60! Wicked deal :D
 
Lowes rocks. I found out about the 7336 clearance on this website. I contacted my local Lowes and they didn't find any in the district. Frustrated but not ready to give up I called the Lowes national customer service line. I great a very good customer service rep who was able to locate one 170 miles from me. She proceeded to contact the manager of that store and had him hold it. I then went to my local Lowes and they requested that it be shipped to them. It took a few days to come in but I picked it up today. 7336 for $45 total.......Great deal thanks guys.
