Paul Dalton AKA Miracle Detail's New Wax

All the people there seem to feel that there's some HUMONGOUS difference between the thousand dollar waxes and those such as Natty's Blue, CG Petes, CG 5050... Supposedly, after ten washes, the looks provided by these "cheap" waxes basically will suck compared to one protected with Zymol or this Miracle Wax.
 
:nixweiss Well prepped paint is going to look good even without wax. I'll probably just stick with Carnauba Moose as my go to on black.

But Scott, I am shocked that you as a highly regarded professional say that. Don't you know that 1000x more expensive wax looks 1000x better and lasts 1000x longer?
 
If Paul Dalton is promoting his own line it must be top-notch stuff. He commands top dollar. He's an elite marketing genius.

I am sure product will not be absolute bull (he can not risk that much) but whether product will be actually worth the money asked is a different question. After all, once it comes to such price ranges for something that is not quantifiable things can easily become pretty irrational (think prices of art) and followers often fail to recognize emperor's clothing is not what it is claimed to be.

I forgot!



I am sure it is good stuff, he does have a reputation to uphold but I'm not paying 10x more for a product unless it is very noticably superior.

BTW, who said anything about this wax being only 10x more? According to this post price of "cheaper" one will be in the hundreds, and of more expensive one in the thousands. Of good ol' Royal Pounds. That's up to 100x and 1000x more.
 
BTW, did anybody notice there are no "befores", only "afters" and that pointers about that and reminders that biggest part of shine is in the paint prep were avoided from being faced head on?
