I like it. I haven't been displeased with it at all. For dirtier cars I'll use Meg's Hyper Wash. Menzerna's car wash is very gentle.

Looks great!

I read it over a few times and could not figure out if you used a PC or rotary?

I'm going to have to say Rotary becuase that's a very mild polish and those looked like some pretty nasty swirls. B-E-A-utiful work.

Well.. believe it or not... PC :) Sorry I guess I left that out of the description. :grinno: But that's the beauty of PO106FF... has some cut to it to remove defects.

Damm!!!! How long did you work it? With a polishing pad that is really good.

Lexus black is single stage and I've found it easier to work than most two stage paints.

Great Work, I too would like to know the time it took and process to remove such swirls with the PC! Also did the Menzerna PO-106 haze at all? What speed, and work in time per panel? I would just love to do the same!

Andrew

Thanks for the comments guys.... yea... I ran out of Hyper Dressing... so couldn't get the wheel wells done. :) You know... most ppl don't notice haha. But yea my bad on that.

As for the working time... the same amount of time I would use normally. 2x2 or 2x3 area... up and down passes w/ 50% overlap, the left to right, up and down again, then left to right again. That's it. Speed 5 on the PC, moderate pressure and letting up on the subsequent overlaps. Time per panel... a minute or so.

No haze... PO106FF has never hazed and has the glossiest finish of any polish I've ever used.

Frizzlefry, how are the residues to buff off? Are they easy or do you use a QD to remove? ALso does the Menzerna Gum up the pad or dust, just curious, and how aggressive is it , would you use on most swirls or just the light ones?

Andrew

PO106FF doesn't dust. It's pretty easy to remove the residue. It'll leave some oily residue but yes a QD or just a plush MF towel will remove it. I haven't had PO106FF gum up the pad.

As you can see on that body panel... the micro marring was pretty good. That was the first time I've tried using PO106FF to remove that kind of marring. I usually use it as a final polish after Power Gloss or Intensive Polish to get a glossier finish and to remove any hazing or micro marring from the more aggressive polishes.
