Pakshak ww towels

looking to get a few ww towels from Pakshak and was wondering if anyone here purchased the Ultra Soft as well as the regular ww(light blue). Price are the same but the ultra soft is thinner. Wouldn't the thicker one be better for drying? which would you choose?

I got the Ultra Soft ones because not marring the paint is the most important characteristic *for me*. I don't mind if a WW gets too saturated to keep using, I just get out another one. All my softest WWs are thinner than, say, my BBTs.

+1 on the Ultra Soft. Very soft and absorbent, that style is my favorite drying towel and I've bought a ton of them since I discovered how soft they were. The regular WW's are nice also, and you ought to order a couple of each to see which you like better. For paint that I really care about I only use the Ultra Soft style.

thanks. I'm waiting on an order of Excel Monterey WW towels. How would you compare the Excel to the Pakshak towels?
They are identical to the PakShak Ultra Soft WW's. Also identical are the Chemical Guys WW and the Danase WW.

Here are some other WW's that are made from the same soft and absorbent material with satin bindings but are different colors and/or sizes: The Sonus Ultimate Drying Towel and the Sonus Ultimate Detailing Towel, The Perfect Shine Drying Towel (same as the Monterey and Pak except the binding is a darker blue), and the Cobra Guzzler series WW feels exactly the same to me also, but is a light green color and comes in a wide range of sizes.

I have tried a LOT of WW's the last few months and I find all of the above to be either identical in all areas, or identical in feel/performance but different in colors and sizes. I don't think you'd be disappointed in any of them if you're looking for a very soft and high quality WW.

Thanks for posting that, and for doing all the comparisons! I like to spread my business around a little bit and that will help me do so.
