hello everybody!
I currently have a brand new BMW 3 series, silver gray color, and I'm looking forward for my first detail. As far as I read, it looks like the Pakshal towels are very good.
My questions is: can you tell me how many of each towel should I have and which ones should be used for QD or wax removal etc...
Btw, I'm going to use Klasse AIO and SG
I was thinking on getting:
2 16 x 16 Ultra fines for wax removal(
2 16 x 16 Ultra Plushes or maybe Ultra Plush Plus???? what is the difference?
1 large waffle weave
1 glass towel
and 2 MF apps

should I get anything else? Should I order bigger towels?

Thank you in advance

I've found the Ultra-Fine 16x24 (Yellow) are excellent for QD removal. I use the others for polish, LSP removal - eg. 16x16 Ultra ones, Ultra plush

Ranney is topclass!! Remember to call him up for special discount too :)
I have his yellow ultra fineMF and it's great for qding. I would also get the ultra plush plush just because it has silk borders (haven't tried this yet)

ps: Hey Ranney if you are reading this can we have 'DC' discount too instead of mentioning the other site :-p :kneel

Ranney's Ultra Fine towels are the finest "synthetic" MF towels I've used to date! bigups

How much money do you have?
:rolling joking mate.

If it was me and I'm starting out I would get ;
2 Ultra fines 16x24 (Yellow) , 3 or 4 MF applicators , 1 wwmf , 1wwmf glass towel, 2 Ultra plush and 3 Ultra plush plush mfs.
(I wouldn't get 50 mfs cause I like trying out mfs from other vendors as well :-p )

If I'm not mistaken shipping is free , remember to call him up/email him to get special pricing for this 'special mf kit' ;) (he's very quick in replying back )

Do keep us updated on what you get k

hmmm money :)) It shouldn't be a big problem but I dont wanna order something that I wont use or need:)
anyway:) thank you for your reply, I appreciate it. So, I think that's what I'll order:
2 Ultra fines 16x24 for QD
1 wwmf
1 wwmf glass
2 ultra plush 16x 16 for wax removal right?
2 ultra plush plus 16x 16 What should I use those for?
4 MF applicators

what do you think of this? should I get 16x24? or....

I believe the Ultra Plush and Ultra Plush Plus are the same towel accept for the hemmed edge. I would just get four Ultra Plush Plus. You can use them for LSP removal and/or QDing. Or maybe get 2 Ultra Plush Plus and 1 or 2 more Glass MFs.

Just a thought about the size of towels you get.
When you QD or remove product, a 16" x 16" towel folded in quarters is just the right size to fit my hand. A larger towel seems to have a lot of area that I never use.
The larger towels seem to work well for drying, but for product removal, I much prefer the smaller ones.

get 2 waffle weaves for drying , one wont cut it. Its not like a chamois where you can ring it out and continue drying.

You can get by with one if you pool up the water after rinsing and use a waterblade to get the big panels. Thats how I do it on my 325Ci ..
