PakShak MF towels vs...

Costco?

I just received my PakShak MF towels. I was going to return my Costco MF towels but when I felt both they felt about the same. I guess the PakShak Ultro Fine was a bit finer, but the Costco ones weren't too far off, and they definitely felt close to the PakShak waffle weave towels I got for drying.

Here's a pic of the Costco towels...

I think you are comparing apples and oranges. The Pakshak WW and the Ultra Fines are too completely different towels is you are comparing softness.

The Costco ones that you posted do not look like a waffle weave towel. I have some MF's that are similar to the Costcos. I use them exclusively for wheels, door jambs, engines etc. I leave my Pakshak and Sonus towels for my paint finish.

OK I gotcha.

Is it ok to use the PakShak Waffle Weave to dry the car? Or will it scratch?

Its a great towel that can be used for drying. As long as you use it properly you shouldn't have any worries with marring or scratching.

I love the costco towels -- at their price ($8.99 for 20 towels) they are basically disposable.

I use them for everything EXCEPT -- I use a WW for drying and some Pakshak ultras for polishing/LSP removal/QD.

You use them for everything...including washing and wax/sealant application?
